This will make someone a unique car that probably no one in the world has completed before.

Car aboveThe pictures above are what the car looked like 75% of the way through the project. There is no reason why this could not be finished to this standard again. Below pictures are what you will be taking on. |
CageThe car has a substantial cage, installed by DS Engineering. It is not FIA approved as they are not registered with them. Cage is through the dash, has cross bars at doors and is very tight to roof for max height. enlarge |
Small dentUnfortunately the car was not looked after during its time in garages and came back with this small dent in rear quarter. enlarge |
Engine bayEngine needs to be supplied and installed, you can see the Apexi uprated anti-roll bars. enlarge |
Hydraulic pumpThe hudraulic pump is more than man enough to open the doors even in a crash, they would be powerful enough to open if car on roof or even side. Pump was also big enough to operate boot, bonnet and jacks under car if wanted. enlarge |
Hydraulic doorsThe doors are a piece of art, it took many attempts before the doors worked and operated from behind stock wings. All other cars I've ever seen have been made behind wide body kits. Rams and doors work, but need adjustment and a solenoid switch set up to hold closed, and either a remote system from key fob or solenoids need to be added. enlarge |
InteriorInterior is empty, sound deadening is still on as this was to be a quick but comfortable show car. enlarge |
Oil CoolerThe twin oil coolers were uprated and cost of £1200.00 with braided hoses. enlarge |
Oil Cooler 2Oil cooler 2 apparently got damaged while putting on trailer to come back to me, looking at it, it could be welded back on bracket successfully. enlarge |
RadsAlthough not in this shot, I have a WGT uprated rad and a HKS front mount intercooler for here. enlarge |
RearBumper and lights are required. The twin exhaust system can be seen, custom made by Hayward & Scott at a cost £2400.00 with the 2 rear tail pipes, no other RX7 has ever had this done as far as I'm aware. Crossed over under car to make the exhausts pulse correctly and with 2 back boxes, makes this a great sounding but quiet enough for track days with there ever increasing noise restrictions. enlarge |
Custom fuel tankTo have the twin exhaust system meant having a custom fuel tank made. Fuel tank was fabricated by Brise Engineering in Dartford. Tyre well was cut out so as to have a flush fitting tank. We have filled with 90ltrs and believe its capable of holding 120ltrs approx, which is great for touring, or endurance racing, even track days you need to fill your RX7 twice. Tank alos has 2 fuel line outlets. 1 is already fitted with braided lines and Bosch 044 pump. enlarge |
